This page sets out who sells LingoHarbor, what you are buying, and the cancellation and refund rules. It also serves as the disclosure required by Japan’s Act on Specified Commercial Transactions (特定商取引法に基づく表記).

What is sold
Prepaid lesson minutes, used for live online English lessons with independent tutors. Learning material, the AI conversation partner and the study tools are included at no extra cost.

- Prices are shown and charged in your own currency where we support it (US dollar, at present). A full list is on the pricing section of the home page. Any consumption tax that applies is included.
- There is no monthly fee, no joining fee and no cancellation fee.
- Purchased minutes do not expire.
- The first 15-minute lesson is free.
Additional costs you pay yourself
Internet access and any device you need. Your bank or card issuer may add a foreign-transaction fee or use its own exchange rate; that charge is theirs, not ours.

Cancellation and refunds
| Unused minutes | Refundable within 14 days of purchase. We refund the unused portion to the original payment method. Email us with the date of purchase. |

| Tutor did not appear, or a technical fault on our side ended the lesson | The minutes are returned to your balance in full. Report it within 7 days. |
| You cancel a booked lesson | Free of charge up to 1 hour before the start. Less than 1 hour before, or if you do not appear, the reserved minutes are used. |
| Minutes already spent | Not refundable, because the lesson has been delivered. |
| How to request | Email info@lingoharbor.com with your account email. Approved refunds are sent within 10 business days; how quickly it appears then depends on your card issuer. |
Complaints
Tell us at info@lingoharbor.com. We answer within 2 business days and aim to resolve a lesson dispute within 7 days.
Two entries above must be completed before you start trading: the registered address and the telephone number. “Provided on request” is accepted in Japan only for individual sellers, and some payment providers require the full address to be published. Please give me the address and phone number you want shown and I will put them in.
